Network Inventory Initial Scan Aprotocall can perform a very detailed scan of your network without any installation of software on your machines. Information can be collected in as little as a few hours and we can give you a good picture of the state of your network. Reports included are: All installed software across your network to including install date, vendor, product name and version Installed applications per machine. All Microsoft product keys used in installed programs. Computers with installed toolbars. Computer age. Disk utilization showing drive capacity and free space remaining. Summary list of all network adapters on machines. List of all network printers and copiers. List of all Dell Service Tags. Summary of all services running across the network. Listing of all stopped automatic services. Summary of event logs on machines. In addition to the standard reports, we can create new reports to meet your specific needs. In Place Server If you choose, we can also set up a server in-house to perform the needed scans. Benefits to having a server in place will allow real time monitoring of your network including: 15 minute scans allowing notification of a machine no longer on the network. Event log alerts of any particular event ID. Any new software installed on a system. Anti-virus signatures which are not up to date. Any disk that was added (USB drives or machine modifications). Any service that was added to the machine (indication of new software, malware, etc.) Any hotfix that was uninstalled resulting in a possibly unprotected machine.
